Path of Stress

Path of Stress is a short platformer in which you play as a university student. It consists of 4 levels, each one representing a year of studies in the university. The player's goal is to pass all 36 courses scattered around the maps. Upon doing so, they will graduate and the game will end.

The game was originally an assignment for our Multimedia Technology course but we decided to publish it for everyone to play! It takes place in Athens as the university shown throughout the game is the Athens University of Economics and Business (AUEB) .

Assets

All of the assets such as images, animations, music and sound effects are made by us and you are free to use them for non-commercial purposes only. Special thanks to Jakob Fischer for the text font used in the game. The game's OST is also available on YouTube, you can find it here.

Controls

To navigate both the main menu and the pause menu you need to use the mouse.

To move left and right you can either use A and D or the left arrow and right arrow respectively.

To jump you need to use the spacebar.

To talk to NPCs you can either use W or the up arrow.

To pause the game use Esc.
